About the Author

Terrance Pulliam is a Memphis native and the only survivor of the 1987 Frayser carbon monoxide tragedy. He lost eight loved ones that day, including his first love, Corrita Banks.

Terrance went on to serve in the Army, Marines, and National Guard, later becoming a police officer. He’s a proud father, grandfather, and graduate with degrees in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies.

Now retired from service, Terrance has found healing through writing. His debut memoir is a tribute to the love that saved him, and the strength that kept him going.

The Love That Let Me Live

A story of love, loss, and survival.

At sixteen, Terrance survived a tragedy that took eight lives, including the girl he loved. The Love That Let Me Live is his honest, heartfelt memoir about that day and everything that followed.

This book isn’t just about grief. It’s about healing, purpose, and remembering the love that never left him.
